ENGLISH. The approach of A. Brentel is ideally located halfway between the abstract and the figurative. Amateric painting, it has an original style, turned to confront some small but significant challenges nowday inescapably posed. In its delta, science disciplines and humanities likewise converge, interrelated according to the principles of impact and simplicity, offering an innovative area of experimentation. The basic technique uses any type of (un)conventional support, together with the classical use of the spatula and brush. The uninhibited use of color is independent of the meaning and form, becoming in turn an intrinsic function of the space. Indeed it is not a language of rupture with the past, it is rather a creative synthesis, fair to metabolize aspects of dissimilar periods or schools and versed to original elaborations, self-sufficient. There is a sense of freedom either in to realize, or in to build, exploring the promising and advanced thresholds of visual communication.

ITALIANO. L'approccio di A.Brentel si colloca idealmente a metà strada fra l'astratto ed il figurativo. Pittura amaterica, gode di uno stile originale, vòlto ad affrontare alcune piccole ma significative sfide, oggigiorno ineludibilmente poste. Nel suo delta confluiscono allo stesso modo discipline scientifiche ed umanistiche, interrelate secondo i princìpi dell'impatto e della semplicità, offrendo un'innovativa area di sperimentazione.
La tecnica di base sfrutta qualsiasi tipo di mezzo (non) convenzionale, unitamente al classico uso di spatola e pennello. L'impiego del colore è disinibito, indipendente dal significato e dalla forma, diventando a sua volta funzione intrinseca dello spazio. Non è quindi un linguaggio di rottura con il passato, rappresenta invece una sintesi creativa, congrua a metabolizzare aspetti di epoche o scuole dissimili e versata ad elaborazioni originali, autosufficienti. Si avverte un senso di libertà sia nel realizzare, sia pure nel costruire, esplorando le promettenti ed avanzate soglie della comunicazione visiva.
